INTRODUCTION TO DEPARTMENT:

Department of Geography was established in 2007-08. This was self financed course for UG level in Arts faculty. Departmental staff works on CHB basis in order to execute this pious job of imparting knowledge. The department has well equipped laboratory to cater to the needs of the students. The department aims to understand the geography of past time and how geography has played important role in the evolution of people, their ideas, places and environment. It helps to develop mental map of community, province, territory and country. Department helps the students to understand the basic physical system that affects everyday life. This department was run on non grant basis till 2013-2014. Regular classes and practicals were conducted.

• Regular assessment through unit tests and college examination.
