The UGC Sponsored Community College provides Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design was established in 2018. Fashion Design Department has well equipped laboratories for the student. This program covers all day-to-day activities and skills required for a successful fashion designer. Students are trained and exposed to related roles and job opportunities in the fashion design, both in retail and the apparel industry.The course helps the learner to understand and develop basic skills in Fashion flat sketches, ethnic women's wear, pattern making, garment construction and CAD Fashion presentation. It provides understanding about Fabrics, Technology and Techniques used in Garments, Fashion and Textile processes.
The course creates awareness about the scope in Fashion and Textile industry.Fashion design is the art of applying design, aesthetics and natural beauty to clothing and its accessories. Fashion is dynamic and ever changing. Fashion influences every facet of our lifestyle at a particular period in time e.g. the clothes we wear, the music we listen, the food we eat, where we go for holiday or the car we drive in etc. Fashion is a big business and key driver for several industries e.g. apparel, accessories, textiles, automobiles etc. Fashion Design as profession includes the entire process of designing and producing fashion apparels from the fiber and yarn stage to the finished product.

Laboratory -1: Area of lab is 440 sq feet. Fashion design department has one teaching class room with ICT facility
Lab 02:
Laboratory -2 Area of lab is 440 sq feet.Where students are trainedPattern Making , Draping Techniques, Surface Ornamentation etc. Dummies are allotted for Draping class. Automatic electric Sewing machines are provided for students practical.
Lab 03:
Fashion Design departmentis having well equipped CAD lab this lab is designed to make students aware of to showcase of their work in different perspectives and provides a 360-degree view of a design. There are Software like JINDEX Illustration, JINDEX drafting and grading, PHOTOSHOP, COREL DRAW are taught to students to develop their career as a graphic designers.
