INTRODUCTION TO DEPARTMENT :

The Computer Science Department was established in the year 2005 with the course curriculum designed by RTM Nagpur university, Nagpur. With the new advancements in the field of computers and in a time with a boom in the IT industry, college has introduced a Self Financed Course in B. Sc Computer Science, a 3-year undergraduate programme for the tech-savvy youth.
The Department is contributing to the development of Computer Science Technology by offering this programme with the help of efficient and qualified teachers and through well-equipped computer labs. In each year of the course, students also get an opportunity to learn the combination of the concepts and training of software tools that equips the students to adapt to ever-changing technology. Students are regularly assessed by internal assessment process like writing seminars, presentations of the seminar, unit tests and preliminary examination to make them more attentive.
Department has spacious and well equipped laboratories with the infrastructural facilities of sophisticated instrumentation set ups, computers and internet facility as well as departmental library for the students. The Department has good collection of text books on Computer Science for staff and students of the college. Department is well equipped with Wi-Fi enabled computers of the latest configuration, and with network of high speed servers. The labs are equipped with LCD projectors to aid the learning process. An UPS system is used to provide uninterrupted working environment to the students.

• The course is provided the education to face any national competitive exams and also syllabus help students to get job opportunities in industry.
• Students are well acquainted with the subject by organizing study tours and exploring new developments in the field.
